Renovation rough-in

Bathroom, laundry and kitchen rough-in and fit-off, coordinated so the wet areas are right before the walls close up.

Rough-in is the stage nobody sees and everybody lives with. Outlet positions, waste falls, and the location of every point are fixed at this stage, and moving them later means opening a finished wall.

The work is sequenced around the other trades. Points go in before sheeting and waterproofing, the sewer extension is made good, and the fit-off happens once the room is finished so new tapware is not sitting through the dusty part of the build.

Kitchens and laundries get the same treatment: sink, tap and waste in, dishwasher and machine points set, and everything tested under pressure before it is boxed in.

Questions

Before you book

Send the suburb, a description of the job and a photo if you can. Most jobs get narrowed down before anyone attends, then the price is confirmed on site and agreed before work starts.

Yes. The work spans residential and commercial, from a single failed tap through to renovation rough-in and compliance devices on commercial sites.

One price for the job, agreed before work starts, covering labour, materials and any certificate the work requires. If something genuinely unexpected turns up once things are open, work stops and you get a call before it continues.
